KLEIN CONCEPT

BIKE UPCYCLING

As a cycling enthusiast, I have always been passionate about finding unique ways to create premium-quality bikes without contributing to the planet's pollution. That's why I started KLEIN CONCEPT, a road cycling brand that is all about upcycling used products to give them a new life and a premium feel.

Whenever I come across a great second-hand steel bike frame deal, I jump on the opportunity and purchase the frame. I then hand it over to a Berlin-based steel bike builder for any necessary repairs, as I believe that upcycling is about restoring something old to its former glory.

While the bike is being repaired, I get to work on creating a design for a complete build of the bike. This part of the process is where my creativity really shines, as I love coming up with unique designs that will make each bike one-of-a-kind.

Once the repairs are complete and the design is finalized, I take the bike to a local frame painter to give it a beautiful finish. I believe that this step is essential to create a truly premium feel for the bike, as a well-painted frame can make all the difference.

When it comes to the components that I use to assemble the bikes, I prefer to use second-hand parts whenever possible. I believe that there are already enough great products and resources around us to build something great within this space without the need to pollute our planet with more objects.

Starting KLEIN CONCEPT has allowed me to combine my passion for cycling with my desire to reduce waste and pollution. By upcycling used products and giving them a premium feel, I can create beautiful, one-of-a-kind bikes while also making a positive impact on the planet.
