DAS Kollektiv

A project rooted in my passion for road cycling

Das Kollektiv is my passion project for road cycling. As a cyclist, I've always been interested in the apparel side of the sport, and I wanted to create a brand that strongly communicates inclusivity and community. To make this a reality, I spent a lot of time researching active wear fabrics, manufacturing, and printing techniques. This gave me a better understanding of what was required to create high-quality cycling apparel that would meet the demands of the sport.

For me, it was important to name the brand in a way that reflects the emphasis on collective identity. That's why I named it DAS KOLLEKTIV (The Collective). I wanted to create a brand that would bring people together, and I believe that our name perfectly captures this idea.

When it comes to design, I wanted to create something that stood out from the typically uninteresting cycling apparel currently available on the market. That's why I've been working with bold fonts to create a bit of contrast. I want the designs to be eye-catching and memorable so that people can feel confident and comfortable while wearing the jerseys.

Overall, Das Kollektiv is a brand that's driven by my passion for road cycling, and which I will continue with small capsule collections for close friends and cycling club members.
